Dealers have permission not to allow green bets. The same way they have permission not to allow bets on single numbers. For the simplest reason that most of the dealers wouldn't have enough bank to pay the winnings of such betsOrkaHaris wrote:Some people don't allow Green bets, yet when it lands on Green there's no respin. If they don't allow Green to be betted on then it'd be impossible to win on green, it makes no sense not to re:spin it.P4kit0 wrote:Dealers have permission not to allow green bets. Imagine two people betting 10 millions in Green. And green comes. The dealer had to have a bankof 700 millions to cover these bets.
The bank restrictions that Makke requires to gamble is even lower than the payout ratio of single number bets.
In this sense, yes, dealers can disallow single numbers in bets, and re spinning on green makes no sense either.
Please tell me if this bottom example is correct. I am the dealer, this is my handAce in the hand of a dealer
An ace in the hand of a dealer will always count as 11, unless the dealer would go above 21, then it would count as 1.
Example:
Dealer hits A5 which equals 16 in terms of Blackjack. The player would in this case be able to choose between 6 or 16, but the dealer is forced to choose 11 if possible. If the dealer then hits an Ace again, it would be counted as 1, since 11 would make him hit over on 16 (27).
Its actually bust i fell in the same mistake a while ago with luigi_bono and we solved it ig with helpers.NedKelly wrote:Please tell me if this bottom example is correct. I am the dealer, this is my handAce in the hand of a dealer

SpoilerThe person I was versing claims that the Ace counts as an 11 regardless.
Therefore, Ace + 4 = 15 + 8 = 23.
Dealer busts.
This is contrary to real-life blackjack.
IRL the dealers Ace too counts as a 1 or an 11 until the count either reaches 17-21 or busts.
Who is correct?
It is 17 as I say (Ace becomes a 1) or is it busted at 23.

so in both of those cases the dealer will have to re deal
