Recommended behaviors in Public Places

1.) Introduction

This short document contains some suggested guidelines to avoid admin punishment for abuse at public places like the Main Bank, car-lot, Cityhall and LSPD. This abuse occurs very often, and can often draw new players in accidentally. To avoid being drawn in, simply read & understand these short & quick tips. The following document will cover a variety of common outcomes from the audience at those places.

2.) Trading/Selling

It is somewhat common to notice that players are usually standing in front, advertising their various illegal objects. These include guns, drugs, etc. In essence, nothing is wrong with it, though the following is stupid and unaccepted:
/s selling toys and drugs - Or /s Selling MP5s and desert-eagles for cheap prices!
The above is known as 'NonRP selling'. In real life, you wouldn't stand in a public place advertising your mini-armory. Instead, you should walk discreetly up to people. Ask them in /low for low (a 'whisper' type chat) as it is more RP if they would be interested in your merchandise. Don't be blatant, and make it interesting, for example:
/low Want to buy some magical dust, kid? My shit'll make you cry for more!
/low I've got some quality heat in my car, care to purchase any?.. It's worth the price, trust me.
Using /ad system to advertise for toys or materials is obvious for cops nowadays and doing so will get you sued and under investigations. Also, if the admins find your advertisement obviously illegal you will face a punishment, they differ though. Example: /ad Selling guns!

As for selling your vehicles, I would not recommend going to the Main bank at all, as you usually end up shouting something along the lines of 'SELLING MY TAMPA'. Instead, go to car-lot and simply make an ad on /ads and ask a couple of friends to help you in selling it. Even when you will shout, don't use caps to get people's interest, just say /s Selling a Tampa, fully modded, come to me!
Perhaps even start an auction at SANBay auctions. That will surely help you.

3.) Parking & Vehicles

Parking your vehicles in front of the Main bank for a very long time even properly might risk getting it ticketed or an impounded. As everyone knows, people pass-by the bank with more than 150km/h speed and simply ram the car to cause it lose its proper parking.
As you can see, there exists new barriers to increase the level of role-play and decrease the ramming at the place. So it will be appreciated if you just act peaceful and not like a drunk badass.

4.) Robbing in Public Places

Generally, robbing in public places (wether in the day light or at night) is not allowed. Public places are places where roleplay should be created not a place where robbery scenes should take place. They involve the current: Main bank, Car Lot, Cityhall, Casinos etcetera... EXCEPTIONS can be made if you contact an admin before you roleplay a robbery in a public place. Please avoid that because it's strictly punishable.
