Is it allowed?

Hello, I found a mode that make your weapons be in more realistic holding way but I am not sure in two things, first if it's will show that I hold them in that way ingame to other players or only I will see that and the second is; is that allowed any way?

Here is the "ReadMe" file from the mode:

Code: Select all

Realistic Weapon Handling Mod

This mod makes CJ and the other peds hold weapons in a more realistic way.

Uzi, Tec-9, Colt45 and Sawed-Off Shotgun are held in two hands.
Rounds in a magazine have changed to be realistic too. (Colt45 has 7 now for example).
Each weapon has an improved range.
Damage is a bit increased.
There's no more double weapon, but your weapons will do more damage once you reach the pro level.

Installation:

Put default.ide and weapon.dat to your data folder

Don't worry, you can find backup in the rar.

Edit:

This is the V2 version of my mod. It only contains an improvement of the sawed-off animation,
as the previous one had no recoil at all. This time, it's been changed, now it's using the desert eagle's animation,
and it looks much better in my opinion.

Each weapon has an improved range.
Damage is a bit increased.
That shows it gives you an unfair advantage over other players, which means you cannot use that. Though I doubt it even works on SAMP, seems like a SP cleo mod.

If you can find just animation of holding gun, I'll use it since current one sucks.

The animation MIGHT work, but it's not a big deal since it doesn't change much.

The damage values won't work since the game calculates the damage based on the server's script files, which dictate the damage

Could it cause desync though? Like, your game thinks that the guy should be dead because it's modded, but for people without the mod he's not dead because he still needs one more shot to die according to the server?

A cleo mod is not an ordinary animation mod, it`s a script changing mod which 're-writes' a part in the script in the player`s advantage and/or favor. ELM, HP and armour percentage and so on are cleo mods which are activated through the script. If a cleo mod works it will most likely work fully, which in this case will give the player an unfair advantage.

Nope.
It won't be allowed as it will cause more damage.
Why do you want this mod? For double wielding?

No.
Animation improvements are allowed though.
