/car fix -> Power Game or not?

I'm tired of seerying this. I'm on a car chase, the guy runs to a PNS, and repairs his car, whitout even stopping it.

I've seen Admins Jailing because of this, I've seen Admins not Jailing.
Seen people that call it PG. Seen people that call it RP. Seen People that call it "deal with it".

After all, /car fix during hcases / being shot / something, is it Powergaming or not?

I don't think it's power game in Italy Mafia since it's not a heavy roleplay server. But if you wanna talk with logic, it's PG in general

• I think that they blocked the pay'n'sprays for the following reasons:
• People block each other inside the pay'n'spray, then DM each other.
• More roleplay for the mechanic job, or at least.. People would be more interested in being mechanic.
• To make money disappear from the server, even though it's going to the pay's'pray. The pay'n'spray doesn't get all the money from the /carfix, as far as I know

So the first problem comes back.

It aint rule wise PGing but is obviously abusing if you're being shot at, pretty hard to enforce that.. so IMO the punishment should be like old /engine abuse, about a week tsuspend.

I think it should take 5-10 seconds to fix it but again it will increase DM people won't wait..Only if they /car fix they get TPed somewhere else and they wait 5-10 seconds than they get TPed back.

It was fine as it was before. In a chase you can close the PNS (when he goes in) .

You're saying "except this and that" when they were the main problems.

or /car fix inside PNS and the garage closes and loads..

It's basically impossible to make, I meant... So it'll work the way we want.
The way it is at the moment is the best, even though there are many abusers out there.
And trust me, even if they change the pay'n'sprays system, those abusers will find a way to abuse it. xD

Anyway, there isn't a good way to do it - that I can think of at the moment.

We figured that out, now trying to think of a way to stop that powergame.

Maybe we can do it like this.
When someone comes near the P'n'S, and does /car fix, the player must wait 10 seconds(+/-5seconds), in order to fix the car.

So no need for opening the classic P'n'S system. This solves the PG problem in my opinion.

You must /engine, exit the car, then /car fix, wait 5 seconds, not more not less.. And then the car is fixed.
Or... You must /engine, /car fix, not let the car move for 5 seconds, and it's fixed. ( Should take money for /car fix only after the fix ).

Don't cancel the repair when the car's moving though like @ fuel stations or people'll be annoying you just because they can.

I simply asked something.

I didn't whined about the old system. It was annoying? Yes. But there are ways around it - wait far from the entrace, that noone rammed you, wait for your turn. If someone was blocking, call PD they will impound the car. (or an admin can resapwn)

I think that there are already too many restrictions on the server for players. So I'd like to suggest stop attempting to make IM more stricter than it is.

What could fix it is to make the person freezed for X amount of time, but then on the other side... the person will then be invincible to kill as freeze makes anyone "unkillable"...

Solves.. solves solves solves.. And without it, it was all going fine.
Just like the sniper if it wasn't made that high DMG no one would've suggested to make it less dmg etc..
I say it's not PG, keep it and don't change anything; people will whine it back, pluse it's easy to destroy a chasing car with a M4. and i am sure he won't be able to fix twice.
