Registration
In order to start playing, you have to register an account. There are two ways to complete the registration process.
- Firstly, you need to navigate to the UCP. Do so by reaching http://www.sa-mp.im . When you've clicked register, fill out the blank boxes with required details ! (When you pick a name, you need a name in the format of Firstname_Lastname. The name will be verified by an automatic system, therefore don't try anything. Make sure you're sure about the picked name, it will accompany you during your stay within the server. In case you want to change your name later on, you have to possess a namechange. You will receive one namechange as a reward, once you reach 40Hrs of playtime or you can donate in order to get one).
Once you are done, press the ""Register" button. Afterwards, an email will be sent to your e-mail. Check your inbox and click on the confirmation link. Once registered and confirmed, you may login instantly.
When you've completed the registration process, navigate to viewtopic.php?f=10&t=16 j. This thread contains the server rules which you must read and understand before getting started.
- Secondly, enter the server itself (address : server.sa-mp.im:7777). A blank box will pop up. Enter the password you are willing to use and remember (Make sure it is strong enough so someone won't break into your account). That's it ! You managed to register an account in-game !
First Login.
When you first log in you will pass through a tutorial. It contains summarized information about the server and its features. Read the explanations carefully to avoid misunderstandings later.Are you done reading the tutorial ? Great. Now, you'll notice that your spawn-point is at Unity Station. In case you're not interested of spawning there, you should rent a home. By doing this, you won't spawn at Unity Station on the next login. Do so by reaching up to a desired house and type /rentroom. Some houses don't allow renting, you can distinguish rental houses by a tagged rent price. If there is no rent price tag or the rent price equal to 666 you won't be able to rent there ! Pay attention.
If you're lucky, the house you rented has the healing upgrade. This will allow you to type /heal inside the house and returning your HP to full in addition to half AP.
You're probably interested of exploring the city or just hanging around with a vehicle. But, you won't be able to afford a car just yet, but you can still use newbie vehicles (They can be used by newbies /ONLY/). These vehicles can be found at Unity Station. You can either choose a bike or a car (A faggio or a Sentiel). They are free of charge !
Additionally, you can use rental vehicles. There are 2 spots, one beyond city hall and one at Rodeo. In order to use them, you will need to /rentcar. NOTE : They are not free of charge ! The price of renting will pop up once you enter a rental vehicle.

Drivers license
In order to obtain drivers license, reach to the license center. (In case you don't know how, type /gps and click on 'Driver License' -> It'd attach a checkpoint to the exact location)Once you reached the licensing department building, enter it and type /driverlic in order to take a driving test. This will cost $7,500. If you fail you will have to pay again, so beware.
When you started the driving test, you will be be brought to a Stafford. All you have to do is to reach the given checkpoints.
You should not drive any faster than 115km/h. Do not damage the vehicle. You need to take less than 90 seconds per checkpoint to pass. Failure to obey any of the rules above will make you fail immediately.
Managed to pass the test ? Congratulations, you now possess driving license !
Leveling up
If you use the tab menu, you might notice how players are in different levels. To gain a level, you need to gain a certain amount of RPoints. In order to reach level two, for example, you need to reach 9 RPoints aka 9 hours of playtime.Playtime rewards

Factions
Italy Mafia isn't as fun as it can be without factions, they provide entertainment, you learn to know people, you develop friendships, you set up goals for yourself and so on ! The first thing you should do is decide whether you're willing to join a legal or an illegal faction. Illegal factions can be crime families such as Corleone and Tattaglia. On the other side, legal factions can be LSPD (Police), SASF (Military), LSFD (Fire Department) and so on.In order to join a illegal factions you're required to do so via in character methods. (E.G: Get connected with the other outsiders first and you'll eventually meet some of the official members, which will eventually get you an invite).

Enter Police Department's website ; http://pd.sa-mp.im/index.php. Afterwards, login/register. Once you are logged in, click on 'Licensing Desk'. There will be a sub-forum called 'Firearms license' - Click it ! Read the announcement regarding the 'Process , Terms & Conditions'. Fill out your application and disclose all information requested on the application. You may find the correct format HERE. Submit your application HERE, and wait for the results !NOTE : You're required to pay $500,000 in order to obtain the license in case your application has been accepted.

Houses and businesses
Upon your first cruise around Los Santos you will most likely notice a bunch of houses and businesses. To enter a business, use press 'Enter', and same with houses as long as they are unlocked. When it comes to owning one, you'll need quite an amount of money. In case you gathered up the required amount of money, simply walk up to the house/business and type /buybiz or /buyhouse. Be aware of advertisements, some owners are intrested of selling their house/business and use the advertisement system in order to advertise and advance the selling process. Thus, you can contact the seller and discuss about the price, get further info and so on !
Reporting a player
After witnessing a rule violation in game and having /reported it without result you will most likely resort to making a forum report, though there are a few things to think about. Firstly, did this player cause any harm to anyone? Reporting players for useless things will just bring admins more work. Try teaching the player instead. The second thing I see a lot of is OOC insulting. If someone told you to shut the fuck up/you're an idiot or whatever, did it actually make any difference to you? I think not. At least to me it's not worth making a report taking ten minutes just for that - And here again, it only brings work to admins. If you even though the pointers above have the need to report someone/you're doing it anyway, don't bother unless you have screenshots. When making the report, follow the checklist below.
- Post the thread in the correct category. (EG : In case you've been deathmatched, your report will fall under 'Deathmatch' category.)
- Follow the correct format! Failure to do so will result in your thread getting locked.
- Stay calm when replying and think twice before posting. Being angry/swearing at someone won't help.
- If you're reporting an admin, please PM the report to woot.
Appeal a ban
