[Guide] Who has a Low-Performance PC (All necessary Solutions)

May 12th, 2014, 3:43 pm

Hello, and thank you for viewing my guide on how to achieve higher frames per second on San Andreas: Multiplayer. There is another guide on here but its not very extensive and likely wont be as effective as this one, the only way I can prove that to you is that the other guide is just one step within this guide.

Step 1: Getting Started :

Having a higher FPS rate is useful in pretty much every situation, who doesn't want smoother gameplay? I'm going to start by fine tuning your San Andreas settings, you should set them to something similar, if not identical to this (You will get to this screen by pausing, going to options > display > advanced):

Step 2: The necessary of the tutorial:

LINK : http://www.sendspace.com/file/emw7up

Tutorial for instlation :

Open gta3.img with imgtool or g-img
( i'd suggest g-img because imgtool is going to take you ages
Put the no tree mod files in your gta3.img using one of these tools

After that you go to C:\Program Files\Rockstar games\GTA San Andreas
And open SA_StreamMem_fix, replace your vorbis files with these.
and put the ASI file inside the map.

After that, you go to C:\Program Files\Rockstar games\GTA San Andreas\models
And open Low effects mod, you replace every map/file that's in your models with these files in low effects mod folder.
After that you go to C:\Program Files\Rockstar games\GTA San Andreas\data
And you replace the timesync.dat with the one already existing.
And you put the timesync.aaa in the same map.
You replace your gta.exe with the one in the map.

After you've done that you run the GTAShrinker v1.03.

After you've done that you go ingame and check what's happenin

After you've done that you open more fps tool,
Double click specular, motion blur, heathaze, and disable
Don't click on "very" low. It will fuck your gta up.

New: SA FPS increaser, go ingame open the file and it will auto-patch in and you'll get alot more FPS.
