Getting pulled over

Hello there, I have heard lots of people complaining about getting DM'd after they get pulled over by cops or even when cops have complained about getting DM'd after pulling someone over. This is because our attitude towards them is not right. In this guide, I will explain how to act and roleplay when you get pulled over by a SAPD officer.

PART 1 : PARKING

So you have been told to pull over your car by a SAPD officer? First thing, don't try to drive away as it will lead to DM after your vehicle will get damaged. So try to co-operate with the officer and RP with him (I'll show you how. If you are new and forget how to RP, I'm sure officer will help you in roleplaying if you don't know how to).
Make sure you park your car correctly and keep space for officer's cruiser. Make sure only two wheels of the right side are on the road. Do not pull over on a corner of road. Drive just a few yards to a proper spot. Remain seated in the vehicle unless you are asked to get out of your vehicle.

PART 2 : ASKING

Officer will reach to you soon and start conversing with phrase like "Do you know why I pulled you over?" This is the tricky part. Don't give him a reason and ask him why he did so.
Now, he may give any of the following reasons :
1.Route traffic stop
2. Traffic stop.

"Morning, officer."
"Why am I pulled over, sir?"

ROUTING TRAFFIC STOP
So the officer has pulled you over for routine traffic stop. He will check your licenses and registrations and then leave. If your vehicle is not registered, give him a valid reason for it ( I won't state here or else everyone will give that reason). Similarly, if the vehicle is not yours, give the officer a valid reason for driving that vehicle. The officer is not having any rights to check your vehicle unless he is having a valid warrant for checking.

/me searches for his licenses - offering the licenses to the officer.
/do you will take it?
"Can you hand me my licenses back, sir?"
/me opens the dashboard of the car - taking out the registrations of the car.
/me extends his arm as he offers it to the officer.
/do you will take it?
"Its of my friend, sir. I'm taking this car to the car-wash"
"Can you give me my registrations back, sir?"
/me takes his registrations back - as he cracks a smile.
"Thank you, have a nice day"

TRAFFIC STOP

Looks like you broke a traffic rule. He will tell you the rule you broke and will ask for licenses and registrations just like routine traffic stop. This time he will take a closer look and check your name over the MDC. After that, he will write you a ticket and you are free to go (After paying).

"Can you hand me my licenses back, sir?"
/me opens the dashboard of the car - taking out the registrations of the car.
/me extends his arm as he offers it to the officer.

"Can you give me my registrations back, sir?"
/me takes his registrations back.
"I don't have a pen, can I borrow your pen?"
/me extends his arm as he grabs the pen.
/me starts writing something on the ticket.
/do I will be signing on it.
/accept ticket
/me offers the pen to the officer.
"I am free to go now?"
"Thank you, have a nice day"

TIPS AND TRICKS

• Never give them stupid reasons.
• Try to co-operate with them and everything will go smooth.
• Don't let them frisk your vehicle until they have a valid warrant IC.
• Tell them in /b if you don't know how to RP.
• Be nice to them and they will be nice to you.
• Don't attempt to flee.
• Don't let them frisk you until they have valid warrant IC.
• If you are sitting as passenger, remain seated and don't speak. Let the driver handle the situation.

Remember, it depends on you if you want to start a gun fight or just end it with roleplay.

" You can't start a gun fight because of getting pulled over . You can't shoot unless Police units either want to frisk you or are already chasing you. You can't just evade, get out and start shooting, if You did so, it would be taken as Deathmatching. "

Add it as a main note nab and the server rule about this situation, can't add it through phone.

Somehow you should mainly direct this at the people who are more new to the server, although I'm sure most of them do not have forum accounts you should try setting up some sort of way in which they will first learn this in-game. It's like making them read a story instead of having fun, they won't do it. Never the less it looks like you put some nice effort into it. All I'm suggesting is try to set something in-game considering like 90% of the people on the forums know how to handle a cop - people just decide to DM themselves, nothing to do about it, but to be punished.

I wasn't on the wanted list in the first place, i was roleplaying with a wanted person, which got me arrested. Nothing illegal happened

I THink cops need special classes too.


First i just got out from a car mod shop reversing then i mistakenly hit the cop car on coming down to aplogise a bag of money appeared on my back from no where, he asked me where i got it from...before i could finish typing my replies i was already in his cop car he did not even listen to my plea and he put me in jail.
Second MY FRIEND WAS DRIVING AND RAMMED THE COP CAR I DROPPED DOWN TO make APOLOGIES FOR HIM ,BUT MY FRIEND SPED AWAY INSTEAD THE COP ARRESTED ME FOR EVADING A PULL OVER AND HAVING GUNS saying i dont have a license which i had.

These makes it hard for me to obey the next pull over because i know for sure i'll get arrested then i'd rather die quit forever.
(i wish there is a support guy we newbies can report to it'll be very better because am not alone i know)
