Well i have a question in mind.Do you have to be made to be a gundealer or you just ask permission from a t1 or t0 member of the faction you are in?

Well i did ask my underboss but he said that i would have to be made.wonder if there are different policies.

Long ago, whilst still in the a-team, I suggested a fgundealer limit which could be expanded through perhaps F-points or certain Family-achievement points. It was deemed too RPGish and didn't find much support among the heads and some basics. I still see no other way in restricting a faction's IC power regarding the gundealer job in any other way but to implement an OOC barrier for whose breaking the family will need to achieve something. I mean, just translate it to the IC side: can there be indefinite guns smuggled into a state? There can't. Its not realistic to have hundreds of gundealers roaming around(we don't have them at the moment, but the possibility stands).

The short awnser is both.

OOC you have to be made with a command.

But IC, a T1 grants you permission

You ask a t1 or t0 of your faction IC to give you permission to work as a toy dealer.
After that he gives you the permission IC and make you a GD OOC.
