Push all wires down on the motherboard and make sure that there is nothing connecting two pins that shud be connecting.Sneaky wrote:Tried, still not working. Anyone?R0M4N wrote:make sure the fan has been connected to the motherboard.
If he didnt take the cooler off or didnt get the cpu out of its socket, then that is almost impossible to happen.DR34M wrote:Cpu is dead

I cleaned the laptop in general, didn't open the fan as a whole just cleaned the exterior of the cooler. But I guess I didn't install it properly or touched the motherboard while taking out the cooler.Luke wrote:Sneaky wrote:Should I buy a new fan?Luke wrote:How did you clean the cooler, what did you do exactly?

Did you take it out or not. Did you use a vacuum cleaner and if so, was it a plastic or steel head on the vacuum.Sneaky wrote:I cleaned the laptop in general, didn't open the fan as a whole just cleaned the exterior of the cooler. Seems like I should buy a new PCLuke wrote:You took the cooler OUT and then cleaned it with a VACUUM. Well, I'm sorry to inform you that it's more than likely you killed your computer.
NEVER use an unhandy and 'powerful' tool like a vacuum inside a computer. Use compressed air instead.
You took out the cooler and exposed multiple crucial parts of your computer without knowing what you were doing, not smart.

Go to your local PC/electronics store and ask for thermal paste. Then watch some videos on youtube on how to properly apply it. (Seriously, do it.)
Hm, not more than 10 bucks Usually around 5-7 dollars.Sneaky wrote:How much does it cost?vens wrote:haha ok bro you need to do that..
