Iphone 6 Touch ID problem

I was at a party last night and suddenly touch ID wasn't working.. I restarted my phone then a message showed up, saying that touch ID can not be enable on this phone. I googled but found no solution, anyone?

sometimes works sometimes not, i must press the power button then home button to open the phone, but the home button works in a short period of time after i turn it off

I litarly got the same issue, I even got my phone fixed cause screen cracked after a period when i had that. As far as that turkish phone company said it wasn't fixed or you need to fix it through the apple store (I'm not 100% sure abt that and it's most likely overpriced as fuck)

If your home button keeps fucking up I'd recommend you to enable the "AssistiveTouch" function basicly let's you press home through a menu etc

it's a hardware problem, in other words, it's nothing you can solve at home you need to visit apple care center.

My s7 edge got broken while watching a video I didn't even drop it on the floor. Luckily it was under insurance and it got fixed for free(it was factory problem)
Anyway since you got iphone 6 and it still works sell it and buy another one...best and cheapest solution.

Go Settings --> Touch ID --> Put your password and remove the Touch ID --> Setup Touch ID from the beginning / new / fresh.

If it doesn't work then Go Settings : --> General --> About --> Reset all Settings. IMPORTANT : Reset and NOT Erase.

If none of the above works, Then it means your Touch ID / Home Button must be replaced.
