URGENT . Can't Install Samp client or Run IM Client

When I try to install Samp client it tells me this :

Windows protected your PC
Windows Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognised app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk.


When I try to run the game with the Launcher it tells me IM-RP has stopped working.

When I try to run the singleplayer it tells me that I need to install Direct X 9 but when I try to install Direct X 9 it tells me I got a newer version / not compatible with windows 10.

Need urgent help please. Thanks in advance.

Just follow these simple steps to turn off SmartScreen filter in Windows 8 and later:

1. Open Control Panel and click on Action Center icon. Alternatively you can open it by typing Action Center at Start Screen and it'll show it in Settings section of search results page.

PS: If you don't see Action Center icon, click on "Security and Maintenance" icon in Control Panel.

2. Now click on "Change Windows SmartScreen settings" link given in left sidebar.


3. It'll open SmartScreen settings window. Now you can select "Don't do anything (turn off Windows SmartScreen)" option and click on OK button.


4. That's it. It'll immediately turn off SmartScreen feature and you'll no longer get the warning message.

You're meant to have it, it's usually on the bottom right, to the right of the calendar.

Here's an example, the action center button is between the keyboard and bluethooth icons in this image.

I got latest Net Framework cause I just formatted the PC . I deleted that file that woot says but still nothing. I cannot even install the Samp client because it says

So that might be the problem.

Is the app that Windows is talking about the IM laucher? If so try putting it in the whitelist on your firewall.

See I don't have smartscreen. The launcher is not working because I don't have samp client installed probably.

You need to enable DirectPlay and you will be able to play SAMP. Had the same issue two days ago. Follow the instructions from the video below.
You can find the control panel by typing "control panel" in the search.
