LSPD is supposed to have firearms detectors, which detects any weapon you have. That's how it works. If you enter the PD with a weapon, an alarm declares and the hole LSPD should know that which makes it a bit unrealistic for a man to enter the LSPD with a weapon as he's surely going to be arrested. Think logic

Police Officers have special weapons, those weapons can't be detected by the detectors or w/e they are called. My logic is not fucked up, it is fucked up only for people who can't use their brain.
