Faction Wars: Preventing excessive camping

To reduce excessive camping as seen in previous faction wars, the following is now enforced script-wise:

If you spend more than 15 minutes during your lifetime in an interior, your death fee will increase by 1.5x and opponents will get a checkpoint to your location.

You will receive a notification after having spent 5, 10 and 13 minutes in an interior. On minute 15, opposing factions get a checkpoint to your location. If you are in a business, they will have a checkpoint to the entrance, the same things goes for houses, HQs, warehouses, garages, etc..

Once you die, the counter for your time spent in an interior resets to 0.

We'll see how this goes for the next wars and may modify this again in the near future. :ugeek:

u kept poll with 2 options for 100 years and in the end changed it anw...
if they are camping inside hq or garage then thank you but i dont need checkpoint to know where they are
additionally it doesnt matter if you increase deathfees, we still cant rush on equal numbers.
basically u changed nothing

I think people will still camp when they're in huge numbers but there's a higher incentive to rush now with increased death fee (should be higher to punish excessive camping, like 2x-3x)

It's a step in the right direction anyway..

This won't prevent camping/reduce it, nobody cares about MONEY.
It'll only reduce people logging in to farm hours/paytime and hide. They won't be able to hide anymore, that's the only difference.

MIGHT encourage pushing.

It's alright. A few tweaks to maybe reset the counter if you have been alive for a longer period and it should be good.

edit to clarify: maybe you have been alive for more than an hour and it all added up.

If it's scriptable it's the best option.

It should be now as promised in the thread while having a poll on. Unless, you plan to change the winning conditions ; 50-70m difference for 24-48hrs+? :ugeek:

Camp 12 vs 16 in your own HQ.
Enemy knows you're there and camps outside.
No one rushes. No one dies. Useless marker at the HQ and useless 1.5x death fee.

We were promised to get force out if someone camps for 15min+ or so but what we gets; 1.5x death fees :ugeek:

If 12 people die from both factions, the rusher will be in advantage (death fee wise). Even if all 16 of the rushers and 12 campers died, the campers lose more money.

Or just ban all interiors during war, example you are not allowed to enter any interior if there is any enemie online, allow to use only HQs where you can vest only.
