Drug rework
Plants
Planting has been fully reworked. You can plant everywhere on grass (Outside the city of LS). Plants have health, fertility and water levels. You’ll need a shovel to plant seeds.

Plants have 5 stages.
  • - Seedling (first growth stage)
  • - Growing (second growth stage)
  • - Harvestable
  • - Dead
  • - Burning
You should only harvest a plant once it’s harvestable. Anyone can water/fertilize/harvest your plant, so you better keep an eye out. You may harvest a plant in it’s second growth stage, however you’ll be penalized (50% less produce). Your chances of receiving the 50% produce also varies on the time remaining until fully grown.

There are currently 4 different plants.
  • - Cannabis plant
  • - Cocaine plant
  • - Sassafras plant
  • - Poppy plant

Plants take 1 hour to grow, and need to be watered every 20 minutes on average (draining is random). You can buy water canisters at 24/7’s and fertilizer at hardware stores.

Plant produce has a maximum and a minimum amount. If your plant health is low, it’ll affect the plants produce as well.
Legal members may burn plants they find. This will start a burning animation and your plant will take damage until it’s dead.

Labs
The existing drug labs, aka the businesses, will continue to exist. Here you’ll be able to buy at least 1 ingredient per drug.

We’ve added secondary “manufacturing” labs. These labs will be at random locations around the map. There will be no requirement to enter them besides having to find them. They will have no text or whatsoever which means they’re completely hidden. There are currently 3 types of labs:
  • - Cocaine lab
  • - Ecstasy lab
  • - Heroin lab
There will be 1 of each type active at any time. They will change location on server restart. Inside these labs are machines used to process and fabricate the drug of choice.

Machines

There will be dynamic machines. Each machine has a recipe, followed by an output. You store the ingredients in these machines, and then start producing. Machines have their own inventory, and anyone may store/take/etc from them.

Machines currently have 4 stages.
  • - Idle
  • - Processing
  • - Cooldown
  • - Confiscated
Machines are idle by default. In order to start a machine, you’ll have to successfully complete a minigame. Failing this minigame will result in the ingredients being lost.
The minigame can be easy (1 stage) to very hard (12 stages). Failing will also put the machine on cooldown.

The minigame will have random timing at which you need to press.

Legals:
Machines can be confiscated by legal faction members. In order to do so, they must be at the machine and initiate the confiscation process. If they move too far or die, the process will fail.Once confiscated, the machine will remain confiscated until the labs reset.

Recipes
Figuring them out is part of the fun :)

Existing drugs
Existing drugs will be converted to “old” drugs. This is to prevent them from interfering with the new system. They’ll continue to work as they do now. It'll also make it easier for future content.

New drugs
New drugs won’t have cooldowns. This is to be able to satisfy the user’s addiction of multiple drugs. Instead, the value it heals depends on the time last used. If that has been longer than 4 minutes (the current cooldown time), it’ll heal 100%. If you use the drugs sooner, you will heal 50% of the percentage of time passed.
E.g. : Heroin heals 85. Cooldown is 4 minutes. If a user decides to use heroin 1 minute after last use, heroin will heal (85/4)*0.5

Addiction
Players can get addicted to drugs on use. There are two stages of addiction.

Addicted:
The mild version. You’ll lose 1 hp every minute until your HP is lowered to 90 if you haven’t taken the drug you’re addicted to in over 20 minutes.

Dependent:
You’re now dependent on the drug. Due to damage done to your health, your max health is decreased to 80. If you haven’t taken a dose within 20 minutes, your health will decrease by 2 every minute until 75 hp. You also have a chance to become dizzy and get the screen shaking effect.

Rehab:
Players can go into rehab to cure their addiction(s). The fee is currently $5m. The rehab center is located at All saints General Hospital, and is a new business type.

Dark web

Illegal faction members may now find a new option under /laptop. It’s the dark web. For now most features are restricted to t0's as they cost F-Points to activate.

Current features:
  • - Find drug lab of a certain type. Will place a checkpoint at a random position around the drug lab. The drug lab can be anywhere around this area.
  • - Order Pyridine Hydrochloride.
Acetic Anhydride run
You can start the run with a Sanchez at the chemical plant in LV.

You’ll be given a random drop-off spot. Once you make it to the drop-off spot, you’ll be given acetic anhydride rather than a money reward. Currently you deliver the chemicals, and will get to keep 5. Starting the run costs 50k. Anyone that steals your vehicle can drop off the chemicals at the assigned drop off location.

Pyridine Hydrochloride.
Pyridine Hydrochloride can be ordered through the dark web. You’ll be paying by delivery. You may deliver a maximum of 50 at once and it’ll cost FPoints rather than money. The items you get are tradeable and may be traded between players.

Every faction has a stock. This stock will replenish with Pyridine every 3 hours, and stock will replenish based on the turfs owned. The stock is max 100 and can not be upgraded.

Once you’ve ordered, a checkpoint will be set to a designated delivery spot around the map (LS continent). Here your delivery will be airdropped 5 minutes after the order has been sent. Flares will mark the landing spot. Once the package dropped, anyone may press N next to it to retrieve the pyridine hydrochloride.


Other changes
  • - Removed the drug-lab access perk.
  • - Improvements to war npc's and their spawning behaviour
  • - Significantly improved object streaming.
  • - And more! (Kinda forgot to write everything down)
