Unless you changed something in the launcher settings that changes your default IM-RP game directory to your installation, it shouldn't have been modified in any way.
- Delete gtasa.set and see if the singleplayer crashes are fixed.
- Are you sure the .exe and main.scm/script.img versions match your save file's version? Try creating a new game, if it loads, then it's the save file being incompatible with your game's script/exe file.
- Can you send a screenshot of your regular singleplayer directory while you're at it?
I remember doing absolutely nothing to cross-contaminate my copies, no.
- I'm not sure where to find gtasa.set, given it's not in my default (non-IM:RP) San Andreas directory. I also assumed that IM:RP had done something to a shared settings file somewhere. If I find and delete this file, does that mean all of my meticulously-set keybinds will be lost? It took me fucking hours to do this.
- I'm not sure how to check the version of these files. The game crashes after the title cards, so I can't create a new game. What I do know is that it was working before I installed IM:RP, and it was broken directly after. If it happened to be that the versions were always incompatible, that would be impossible (since I would've played it despite it being incompatible), and would also be a very big coincidence.
- Sure. I don't have a screenshot from before IM:RP was installed, so I can't cross-reference to see if IM:RP has stuck anything in the directory that it shouldn't have. Not sure how useful it will be, but here.
