To celebrate Halloween, IM:RP will be running its annual Halloween event from Friday the 25th of October at 06:00 server-time until Monday the 4th of November at 05:00 server-time. This is a great time to enjoy some special events, play some unique activities, earn some rewards, and hopefully even defeat the pumpkin boss!

Awards
This year, we're excited to introduce awards for our event! If you win one of these prestigious honors, your name and character will be immortalized as a statue in Los Santos. Additionally, the top 10 players in each category will receive a permanent profile badge and in-game currency, while the leading faction will be awarded 5,000 f-points.

The awards categories include:
* Most candies earned by an individual player
* Most candies earned by a faction
* Most damage dealt to Halloween bosses by an individual player

Please keep in mind that bonus candies will not be counted toward these awards.

Pumpkin boss
A powerful monster will be roaming San Andreas, so don’t underestimate it—defeating this beast will require teamwork from many players. However, if you succeed, you'll receive a share of 2,000 candies based on the damage you inflict!

The boss will spawn at every paytime, and the location will be announced in the chat.



Candies
You will earn candies simply by playing the game, or participating in the trick-or-treating events by typing /tot.

Based on the current values, the event is already guaranteed to spawn $1.2 billion in-game money, which is on top of the awards section mentioned above. We will be adjusting some of these candy amounts as the event progresses based on player feedback.

Rewards
You can redeem your candies by typing /candy next to the LS main bank. For this year, it works slightly differently, since you can pick the exact item you would like without having to get lucky. But if you still would like to take a chance, you can buy any of the boxes to get a random item that might be worth more than what you paid for!

As mentioned in my original post:

We will be adjusting some of these candy amounts as the event progresses based on player feedback.

The candies earned by trick-or-treating have now been tripled from 10 to 30 per task and will go live after the next server restart.

On top of that, this event (and all future ones) is designed to be a fun activity for players to enjoy, not a grind to earn money. If you consider it a grind and don't actually enjoy doing it, you should not participate - there are plenty of other things to do in IM:RP.

Everything else is not a competition, so the people helping to keep the server alive should be rewarded accordingly and this does not affect you at all.
