Hello IM players.

In the past couple of weeks i actually have seen a lot of people questioning about things regarding the forum. newbies and people who are here for enough time, So straightly I'm creating this guide to explain everything related to Italy Mafia Roleplay Forum.

Side Note: This guide is a collection of written and none written guides but with additional information.

1. Forum Rules.

Well, here the forum rules with a little simplification,simplified English and less compress expressions . If you don't understand the simplified rules, you can check the rules written by the server itself , I wish you understand with anyway.


1. No foreign language allowed except English.
Players are not allowed to use any foreign languages in Italy Mafia Roleplay public boards except English ( British or American ) , Furthermore they are allowed to use foreign languages in ONLY forum private messages and foreign languages sub-forum that includes languages of the most of the world (Players are authorized to add their language if it's not written).



2. No insulting or provoking.
It's strictly not allowed to mock on players regarding their religion,political beliefs,sexual orientation or ethnic origin. If you were found doing any of these , you might be punished according to the extend of your flame or discrimination.



3. No spamming.
Don't post in threads to gain more post added to your profile and let a lot of people see you, spamming includes posting in old threads even if you're posting on-topic.

Examples :

• Nice story!
• I agree!
• +1
• ok ...

4. No adult content on public boards.
You are not allowed to post any adult contents on Italy Mafia Roleplay public boards, Also closed faction boards , only allowed in forum private messages.



5. Do not post illegal content on public boards.
Posting links to torrents or otherwise illegal material or software is strictly prohibited and will result in a termination of your account. Blatant encouragement to download, share or use illegal material or software is also strictly prohibited.



6. Do not troll or derail threads.
Don't post troll threads,posts furthermore don't go off-topic . Troll threads and posts will not be forgiven at all, especially in official threads such as announcements,reports, appeals and the liking.



7. Do not motivate rule breaking
Don't motivate people to rule break Italy Mafia Roleplay rules, if you've been caught motivating players to rule break, you will be suspended for twice the punishment .



8. Do not share accounts.
Sharing your account (Game or forum account) to your friends or/and family members strictly not allowed under circumstances . Doing this will lead you to permanent account disable.



9. Read the set rules for the specific board you're using.
Make sure you're always following the board rules and formats , some boards may have special and additional rules.
That also mean that the IC section must be respected and OOC/IC must be separated according to Italy Mafia Roleplay game rules.



10 . Keep your signature below the height of 250px

• 250px should be more than enough to have a decently looking signature.
  If you're caught with a way too big signature, and get told to resize it you must do so.
• If your signature is found breaking this rule extensively or you repeatedly break this rule, your right to having a signature will be revoked.
  You may receive the right to use signatures again, but rarely.
  • No Kill Lists in signatures
  • No content that may provoke other players, e.g. racism or politically provocative.

11. No server advertising

You may not post links or videos advertising for other communities on this board.
This is Italy Mafia and not E-Bay.
According to our server rules, it is not allowed to trade IG items for OOC items or vice versa. Therefore you may not advertise for such trade on the forum either.

2. Forum Posts Codes ( BB Codes ).

Alot of people don't know how to add codes , how to make a proper signature or post, so i decided to create this section and i hope it will help you.

2.1 Spoiler

Used in: Hiding images,texts or anything in it.
Spoilers are two types :

1. Normal Spoiler (/Spoiler) : The spoiler's appearance is displayed as "Spoiler".
Example(s):

2. Customized Spoiler (/sp): The spoiler's apperance can be customized.
Example(s):

IM-RP.

2.2 Positions ( Center and Align).

Used in : Setting the Image/text('S) position.
To set position there are two ways :
1. Center (/Center) : With this code, you can set only the text/image to the center of the page.

2. Align ( /align ): Used in customizing the image/post('S) place

2.3 Image.

Used in: Uploading images.
Example(s) :

There are two ways to upload images :

1. By copying the image's BB code after uploading it ( Automatic upload ):

2. By copying the image URL after uploading it ( Manuel upload ) :
You simply should upload it, then copy its URL image and put it in the forum BB Code [/img]

2.4 Youtube.

Used in: Uploading videos.
Example(s):

You should upload the video to youtube then get the last part which is after the " = " in the video's link.

2.5 List.

Used in: Making your texts properly listed.
Example(s):

You should use the list BB code ( [/list] ) then put [*] beside every text in the list.[/b]

2.6 Quote.

Used in: Quoting someone's speech

Used in: specifying texts by underlining them.

3. Forum Ranks.

Well, Most of the people don't know what is the ranks underneath their usernames or what they do.
Actually they are ranks have direct relation with your posts, the more your posts increase, the more you get promoted.

Ranks Stucture:

Outsider = 0

Associate = 250 posts

Made Man = 1000 posts

Soldier = 2000 posts

Caporegime = 4000 posts

Consigliere = 7000 posts

4. Forum Usergroups.

They are your usergroup colour which is underneath your username and replace your Forum Rank

Donator ( VIP Members).

Player is a Member who purchased premium membership.

Faction Leaders.

Player is a Tier 0 of a faction.

San Andreas Police Department.

Player is a member of San Andreas Police Department.

Retired Administrators.

Player is retired adminstrator from Italy Mafia Roleplay admin staff.

Server Administration and Management

Player belongs to the server Administration or management

Community Owner

Player is server owner.

Italy Mafia Event Team.

Player is a part of Italy Mafia Event team.
