Healing in Gun Fights Policy
There are many ways to 'heal' your health and armor in IM. These ways include, health/trunk kits, houses, heroin, Sprunk machines littered around the map, food. Point being, it is extremely easy to heal yourself on Italy Mafia and players are constantly doing it, by themselves, with groups of people and during gunfights. As such this policy was created to prevent players from exploiting, performing Non-RP Behavior and abusing the system in terms of healing themselves during a gun fight.
[1]. Healing shall be defined as using any means to increase a player’s health or armor in any way with the exception of the use of heroin.
[2]. An Action Scenario shall be defined as
When it is clearly indicated a fight might occur or when a fight is already started
-- When threats are made IC
-- When weapons are displayed or violence is shown IC
-- When at least one of the present individuals shows sign of aggression IC
-- Respond to a backup call to a current gunfight
[2]. Healing in a gunfight or action scenario shall be completely forbidden, including the use of houses heal, drugs, first aid kits.
[3]. Healing shall be allowed once a player has left the action scenario. Leaving a scenario shall be defined as escaping or leaving to a distance where another player cannot immediately find them - for example, running around a corner is not to be considered leaving the scenario as you may be followed, whereas driving away and out of sight or running a few blocks without further action and without being closely followed would be considered leaving the scenario.
[4]. If a first aid kit is first used before it could reasonably have been presumed that a gunfight was expected to start, any lasting effects of that first aid kit shall not be considered a breach of policy. Any use of a first aid kit that is judged to have been deliberate and meant to avoid injury in a gunfight shall be punishable.
