Do not tab, start the record while you are ingame. Do not start recording before you start the game. Once the gta:sa window opens, use the hotkeys to start recording. If you want to tab, you have to stop recording and then start recording a new video when you come back.

I recommend Bandicam. FRAPS makes you lose FPS sometimes when you record and your videos will take a shitton of space.
