I want to install some good mods to make my game better, but when I try and download SAMI and run it, it says I need "Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1" but it won't let me download that because it says I have a higher version already (I have windows 8 by the way)
I tried to install GGMM but when I put it in the place it tells me to put it, it says it's in the wrong place..
I really want some mods so, could anyone help :/

You should try to installing mods the normal way and not SAMI package. It's quite easy to learn.

The .NET Framework 1.1 is not supported on the Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012 operating system. If the .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 is not already installed, it will be automatically installed, and the application can be run. In some cases, the .NET Framework 1.1 is specifically identified as required for an application to run. In those cases, you should contact your ISV aka independent software vendor; to have the application upgraded to run on the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1, the .NET Framework 4, or the .NET Framework 4.5.
About mods there is another ways to install mods i suggest you to instal via IMG Tool < if you need help with this program contact me.
And you can copy directly the MOD files and places them over the game files i didn't try that but i am sure it can be done, but be careful on that.
