I applied for a dealer application and got accepted. But I am not yet in the casino dealers list or the usergroup. I changed a typo in my name name while the application was processing. (MichEAl to the correct way MichAEl). Could that have been a problem? I fpmed both Darien and Elio but they have not responded yet. So making a thread to see if this is a bug or if it was because I changed my name. All the others that applied with me and even after me have been accepted and are even in the usergroup.

Actually, you haven't been given the license yet. As you said, you have informed Darien/Elio regarding this. Now, wait for Darien/Elio to give you the license.
