I downloaded a speed limiting mod and did some coding and math to change the values to IMRP's speed limits. I used "/ask" to discern whether it's allowed or not, but I do not believe that suffices. Are they allowed?

Apologies if there's already been a thread like this one, I used the forum search tool multiple times and haven't found a thread like this.

Any mods are allowed, that doesn't give you advantages.

technically all mods give you an advantage. ENB mods make the game look good to make you feel better.

I just want to know if my mod is reasonably fair, because I don't want to keep tapping "W" and look at my speed all the time just to stay under the limit.

Most of irl cars have speed limiter button on their dashboard, also called Cruise Control. So this mod is not something 'unrealistic'.
Why would it be illegal? it's not like a turbo mod, it just limits the speed

Mod that give you an advantage over other players are not allowed.
Cruise Control is not allowed as far as I know.

This isn't allowed, I asked Makke a few years ago.

It does give you an advantage, as you can lock your speed to something unreachable (e.g. when going down a hill); as such it'll keep moving at that speed - not sure why, but from what I could work out it is due to the limitations from GTA:SA and CLEO.

Imagine a Boxville going 200kp/h?
