RC "My Computer", go to manage, select device manger, check if there is any signs beside your mousepad driver cuz it might be outdated or smth, if it's not there then it's disable, and you need to enable it if it's there and it says that the device is working properly then the driver is corrupted/outdated and in that case just google "<Your exact laptop model> touchpad driver for windows 10". I had that problem when I reinstalled my windows and that's how I fixed it, hope I helped!
