Is it worth re-thermal pasting a laptop?

My laptop has been having overheat issues even before I had a cooler, back in the time I had it I can play for 1-2 hours straight until it gets really hot so I pause for like, an hour then go play again.

But recently, my cooler broke down ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And I can only play 30 minutes straight without one else it gets really hot and my FPS drops to 10-15. This has been affecting my gameplay and time, so I'd like to have your feedbacks if is it worth to apply thermal paste again.

applyin thermal paste in a laptop is a pain in the ass since how all the components must be disassembled etc, i'd take it to a shop and let them clean/paste it

Yeah, I think disasembling it is really a pain in the ass (lmao i was hoping to do it from the manuals/tutorials)

really depends on the laptop, they're all different and some do not allow easy access to the cpu at all, might've taken 1-2 hours

what is the warmest part on your laptop, do you have frame drops in games when it's warm & where is your laptop placed on (desk/table etc).

tips
do not place it on your self.
try to open your window to let air inside so that there is some cooling from outside, use a stable place not just one place try diffrent places tables etc.

Get a fan place it next to your laptop and turn it on grab some frozen icepack put ur laptop on it and roll on imrp

any thermal paste change is usually absolutely worth it unless your fans etc are clogged in dust
