I appreciate the effort to increase the level of rp. but after 3 years of civilian gundealing this change is really hard to accept..

Since the guns seem really slow to produce, I did some math in this subject.

As it was said, in each second the warehouse produces 3 materials...therefore:

3(materials) * 3600 (seconds) = 10800 materials produced by hour

10800(materials/hour) * 24 (hours) = 259200 materials produced by day

259200 (materials/day) * 5 (factions) = 1296000 materials produced by day by every faction (stracci, barz, cueo, kemi, tatta)

1296000 (materials/day) / 800 (materials/m4a1) = 1620 M4's per day

So even if all the factions have their warehouse producing guns 24/7, only 1620 m4's are produced per day. With the ammount of time people die and rearm, and taking in account that people also byt shotguns, deagles, rifles, etc. I think this value is a bit small....

Does woot has any historical average number of how many guns used to be sold per day? and how many guns of each type?

This may be good for the server, cause it will decrease the usage of guns, however I think its not only a change in the gun dealing system but in the whole way of acting in the server.

For me its not a problem, since I'm used to buy almost all my weapons in the legal gunstore...

Just think it will change the amount of guns in server, which I didn't say its bad... I think it's good actually. However I was trying to understand if with this update woot tried to reduce the amount of guns in server, or if it may happen by mistake.

But yes, I'm pretty sure it's to reduce the guns, which we've been trying for a long time.

I just went to the quarry and there were 3 helicopters flying around either waiting to hijack trucks or to see if it was clear to bring them in. I love how this brings a whole new element of strategy into the game. Its like a cat and mouse game of when to transport, which routes to take and then you gotta keep your T1 alive so the warehouse stays locked. Looking forward to seeing what kind of routines people can come up with, I just hope it wont turn into mass DM.

Also, you may apply for a weapon license, but then again you gotta pay a lot more since those guns are legal.

Guns shouldnt be easy to get to. Now families supply civilian gundealers and they need to meet up and roleplay a materials exchange.

Melee weapon's usage could be encouraged, by making them cheaper and easily obtainable. It's stupid to pay 15k entrance + amount for weapon each time. People just prefer to use a handgun over it as it's a lot cheaper.

Maybe make melee weapon a perm holda'ble weapon or cheaper as crafted with materials or something.
