No, 770, it's an overclocked version of the 680 and performs better, for just a couple of bucks more.Miller wrote:Buy GTX680 and a i5 Ivy

He doesn't need more than 2GB VRAM if he's playing on 1920x1080 resulotions, which I even doubt he does.Oakley wrote:Go for Intel Core i5-processors if you want to run games like GTA SA.
I also prefer i7, but its up to you.
For the GPUs go for GeForce GTX 770 and look for 4GB vRAM or 2GB ++.
RAM you'll need more than 8 GB.
MY SPECS:
CPU: Intel Core i7 3770
GPU: GeForce GTX 660Ti 2GB (graphics clockspeed in boost is 1084 MHz and 1006 MHz in base)
RAM: DDR3 16GB

And, he doesn't necessarily need an i5 nor i7 to run a specific game, he can still run a specific game with almost the same FPS with either an AMD or an Intel processor. Some games and applications work better with different platforms, that's fact.
I said new games.Oakley wrote:Go for Intel Core i5-processors if you want to run games like GTA SA.

If your motherboard supports it and you have enough good power supply 750W+ yes you can.Cruz_Gonzalez wrote:Also Nikki, just like having 2x ram cards, can I have 2 graphic cards ?
