Simu, you join faction by RP-ing. If the faction is legal, you may apply or wait for their recruitment sessions. If the faction is illegal you might need to RP next to them or have an IC friend to give you a meeting with a T1 to join.

I'd suggest learning some of the RP basics before joining any factions..

After going through the guide i believe your question will be answered on it's own, as you will have more knowledge on the whole "term" of role-playing.

You need to get into the faction with IC actions. Get some friends and try to get a job that way, or check out the ads from time to time. Sometimes they are searching for new workers. Getting into a faction for the first time is not easy, so just be patient. However roleplay is the only way in.
