Suicide to avoid Death?

Implying that if a LEO kills you, you won't lose an extra 10k.

If you are being shot at to be killed, and you jump or w/e to die, and you do die. How is it to avoid death?

I don't get it that you can't suicide to avoid death. Aren't you dead when you're suiciding...? Or is it the fact that people are killhorny and rage when someone can't get you killed.
