[Answered] DM or not?

This senario has happend to me. I want some to confirm if this is DM or not.

We have to different players. Player 1 And player 2. Both have their name off.

Player 1 And player 2 has the same skin, And are at the same place. Player 1 is already a wanted person, the Police comes and find him around mainbank, And he takes up his deagle shooting. At that time player 2 is running around mainbank where the shooting is. I accidently shoot the wrong guy because of his skin. Will this count as DM. I got jailed for it And served my punishment, But it was not my intention to DM.

So yes or no?

Well sometimes it is hard to get into jail because of accident. But look it from both sides(adminand playerside).
It is easier to prove that you dm'ed then prove that it was an accident.
You trying to prove the admin wrong with this thread?

There have been few reports similiar to this case,and as far as I know,no one got jailed. It's obviously his own fault that he was running around and get shot, if same happens again,SS it and show to admin.

Not going off topic I just want you to realise that an aim has to decide.
Imo it doesn't count as dm.

The answer is no. Deathmatching is when you kill another person without a sufficient 'roleplay' reason to do so. In this case, there is a reason.
But in the other hand, there is a misunderstanding. You were targeting to kill Player 1, whilst player 2 pops with the same skin at same place. Your brain will tell you that Player 2 is your target as they look the same, so you shoot him instead. And that is because you can't know that Player 2 is not involved at all.

To be entitled , you must gather evidence that what you speak is the truth. Just hit the 'F8' button each time you shoot or attempt to shoot a player.


The reason you got jailed is probably due to lack of evidence, from your side.

You can NOT shoot a guy because it might be him based on his skin. A lot of players got the same skin at this server. Next tine think twice before you open fire, the guy you killed was not even armed.
