TS3 Overlay Plugin

August 5th, 2013, 8:54 pm

Alright. So I wanna be clear and I am stuck with my TS3 problems. Well, I do as I've always done on my previous computer and when I head to "Plugins" and toggle the TS3 Overlay Plugin to 'enabled' I go to settings and enters the Input tab. Where I press "Set Hotkey" and when I assign the hotkey nothing will appear in the box. Then I go check my hotkeys at options and the hotkey is not there. I think this problem occured in the newer TS3 updates, or theres something I am doing wrong. Theres no need to explain me how to do it, because I know it - the problem is that it won't work. I've spent hours just figuring out this thing, and I'm real pissed.

OH and when I open TS3 I get this message:

This does not make any sense to me, because I go to the 'Input' tab and assign the hotkey, but it won't appear in the box where it should appear after I've assigned it. AND THE OVERLAY WON'T WORK IN GAME AFTER I ASSIGNED IT :(

It is a known bug according to the TS3 forums. Disconnect any USB controllers (joysticks) you might have connected to your computer. Once you've disconnected the joysticks, you can then set your hotkey. After the hot key is saved, you can reconnect your joysticks!

Joysticks? You mean that I should reconnect all my devices that are running USB?

Yes, but I doubt that is the problem.

After I press "Set Hotkey" and assign one the box is just blank. I thought that my keys will appear in this box after I assigned, but it does not.
So I head over to Hotkeys in Options instead, and opens the advanced tab and I assign it from there. It is all assigned, but then I head over to SAMP and start to play and I try to press my hotkey which is 'NUM MINUS' and nothing happens. I entered their forum to find some solutions, but all I find are threads without answers. These developers promises in all the threads that they will fix this in the next update but in the next update we won't see a damn changelog of the ts3overlay which disappoints me as fuck.

Try to ask for help over TS forums. They could locate the problem better than me. My knowledge about TS is very basic.

I've been doing some research there, but I don't find any about SAMP

OH and now I enabled Direct3D 8, Direct3D 9 and 10 and 11 then I get GTA_SA.exe has stopped working!
Teamspeak is the one who messed it up, they better be fixing this for the next update.

Nothing I can do about it, please lock this thread!
