[ANSWERED] Crashing whenever I get a chatbox from the game.

I don't really know how to explain, but whenever I get some chat on my screen, I get this little black thingie on the top of my screen and then I crash.

I take it you've tried reinstalling SAMP/rebooting your computer?

Had this problem for quite a while, a month or so, I don't think trebooting would fix it. It has also happened to me in single player mode.

Hm I don't know, it's not SA:MP side so if you haven't tried reinstalling your entire GTA, try doing that.
It may also be manic-mod induced (too many mods)
Or maybe even your graphic drivers

It is kinda impossible; do re-install your whole game the only way to fix your game, i don't know why are you trying to get another solution..

Tried uninstalling the game, and applying all of the mods again? I had a similar problem once, and solved it by simply reinstalling the game, and applying all of the mods i had installed again. Game tends to get buggy after some time of playing with mods, it's only natural. Buut yeah it would take you ages to anticipate what mod is causing your game to crash if you got a bunch installed so you might as well just reinstall the game if you wish to continue playing without crashes. You could also try goggling some of the mods that you currently have installed for crash symptoms. And in the end you can just reinstall your game, and apply mod by mod until you've found the causer of your problem.

The black window is a result of interrupted CLEO mod, delete the last CLEO mod which you have installed and you wont have any problems
This happened to me a few days ago when I tried to install a digital hp & armor ( the one Makke suggested ) and it came out that it works for everyone expect for me, I was getting the same black window and then crash

I believe that's the problem of your crash, delete the last CLEO mod which you installed and tell me the result

EDIT:
To be more accurate I believe that the digitalhp&armor.cs causes you that crash, just remove it and see if you'll still get this crash

I actually suspected CLEO from the beggining, I'll try it once I am on my Laptop . Thank you, gonna tell you if it worked.

I am almost sure that it's the digihparmor.cs which makke posted, getting you that black window and then crash..

I used to get the same black window sized at the same position just like yours, so try it and see if it's because of that

I had the same when I installed a sniper crosshair mod, you must have installed something wrong and added it to your GTA try removing it if it doesn't work you'll have to re-install.

Reinstall his windows? There's no need for him to go that far, a simple reinstall of his GTA will do the trick. The only reason he's hesitating is because of the mods he currently has installed. He might've lost links to some, and cba searching again. However, windows has no part in this issue.

@Buck, ye I had a CLEO which caused this, digital armour and health thingie, it's good now.

You may lock this.
