Hi there.

Well, as I've noticed, in the help&questions section, there are mostly same questions over and over again, and thought of this kind of a thread, to help at least a bit, and avoid the section being spammed all over again with the same issues, and same solutions..

So, in this guide, I'll post common issues, and solutions for them. I wont be giving credits to everyone that made each reply, because it would take me too much time, so I'll just mention here, that the solutions were given by different people.

Alright, so let's start.

F8 problem with Windows 8 :
Set your GTA resolution to 1366 and it will be fixed.-esc - options - display - advanced - resolution.

Forum username:
You are not able to change your forum username unless you're a donator- have the forum premium.(you have to link your in game account
with the forum one for that. ) You can try PMing woot and ask for mercy so he changes it, but in most cases, it wont work.

Can't get rid of current weapon mods:

1. Try deleting both the installation folder AND Virtual folder copy. Go to your user at the hard driver>AppData>Local>VirtualStore>Program files; find the Rockstar games folder there if you can and delete SA if you find it. Also delete the entire user files in the documents, including gta_sa.set so it doesn't save any preferences.

2. Open your IMGtool and if only the Models folder appears, delete it.

If you have uninstalled GTA SA currently, try the VirtualStore folder and tell me if you found anything there

CLEO mods

As first

Using any third-party software to give you unfair advantage over other players is not allowed under any circumstances. If you have questions about e.g. CLEO mods, speak to an admin to avoid any misunderstandings.

Example of forbidden mods: CLEO (See complete list of allowed CLEO mods below), cam hacks, autoaim and sobeit
Allowed CLEO mods:
- ELM(emergency light mod) - Only allowed for LSPD, LSFD, SASF, FBI.
- 1st person mod
- HP/armour digital mod(displays YOUR OWN HP & armour in digits)
Punishments:
Permanent IP ban

Before using any CLEO mods consult with an admin, ask for approval.

Cant connect retrieving info... :

Reboot your computer & modem. It'll work.

Crashing in interriors :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kok3EInV1iU / Try running the game in Windows 98 / Windows 2000 Compatibility mode, or try to run it as administrator. Have you tried re-installing the game in a different location? Preferably a different Hard Drive?
Try also this solution out, if you're on Windows 7:
1. Goto "Start"
2. Type this on the search bar:CODE
systempropertiesperformance
3. Press enter.
4. A window should pop-up then on the Data Execution Prevention tab (DEP), click on Add.
5. Browse for gta_sa.exe then click it
6. Click on Apply then "Ok"
7. Run the game, and see if it works.

Sending PM's on forum..
You are able to send PM's on the forum after reaching 5 posts.

Cleaning your criminal records...

The only way to clear your criminal records is by namechanging. You can get a namechange at 40 playtime, or with donating.

Cleaning your admin logs,,,

That's pretty much impossible. You are not able to clear your admin logs. Only in a case like you have a ban log, which was a mistake
and proven as a mistake afterwards. In that case, you can create a support ticket and hope the admins will decide to remove the log.

Random Crashes
Re-install DirectX, and re-boot your PC
Re-Install your whole GTA and SAMP and GTA San andreas Files JUST delete all data related to san andreas or samp. then install them Back , don't forget to delete mods. i'm pretty sure it'll work IN future.

Donation

Donated, but dont know how to get the premium on forums?

Well that depends how you donated. If you donated trough paypal, and you have your account linked, then you should get it automatically
and just set it as your display group. The other methods are slower, and you should PM woot about it after the donation, so he gives you the premium IG/forums.

If you've got an advertisement problem, like these in the picture down, poping up on your random sites and so on, you should solve it like this !

Solution ; 1. Navigate to your extensions (Chrome Menu Button > Settings > Extensions)
2. Disable (uncheck) every extension that you have installed.
3. Now, one by one, re-enable each extension, checking each time you re-enable one extension to see if the issue still occurs with that particular extension.
