Faction names

Do you need a specific PERSON's name e.g Stracci or can it be something like Swedish Mafia for example.

There's no such thing as a specific person's faction name. You RP what you create, so you can basically name it whatever you want.

Official factions have names such as Corleone, Stracci, Barzini etc just to keep with the tradition of the Godfather, but RPly, you don't have to stick with that script.

An example of this is the well known Capetta/Cuneo and Campisano/Barzini

Cuneo and Barzini are their OOC names. IC they are still called Cuneo and Campisano

These faction names are taken out of real life, tv episodes films n shit. Just paterno is something that algren made up I think, and triads from shanzu.

It's Italy Mafia so factions names are taken straight from Godfather series on majority and
@Antonio Paterno is not made up.

Rizzuto was formed and took over Corleone. Capetta got Cuneo.
Campisano got Barzini, and Trevisano got Stracci.

Paterno was, at one time, also called both The Southie Project and the Southern Rebellion.
