Yes, Governmental Section as you can see has been revoked, and Government faction, as K3lroy stated, will never be opened again. It's removed from the Faction Leader Roster thread but not from the script.

The government faction is as useless as having a street cleaning faction.
The people who were able to run it never got elected, and if they did, they quit within a week or two.
