Eh, I noticed this a couple days ago, when I wanted to check the PD site.
I tried opening it in a new tab, I just couldn't click on the option.

At the beginning, I thought it's just the PD site, but I noticed it's like that for everything.

How may I fix it?

(obviously the title says everything)

I think that the best solution is to try using another browser.
Use the link that Chucky posted above me, try using Google Chrome.

None of these answers have actually answered his question. He's not asking what the fastest Browser is. Google Chrome may be fast but takes alot of memory and may slow down certain computers.

This is being quoted from a site where the person had the same issue as you and this was his answered:
Yeah! I can tell you. Go to Tools, Internet Options, and then the advanced tab. Then click on reset internet explorer settings.
One AWESOME thing about IE7, is that if your IE7 is in critical state, this will bring it back to the first time you used it, and will reset itself.
If all else fails, try going to the IE7 site, save the application to your desktop, and re-download the application.
But first, try the first step.
Good luck!

Internet Explorer is known as the worse browser out there.. Try downloading one of the recommended browsers above, and
tell us if the problem persists.

Most of us don't use IE, so we've have less knowledge how to find a proper solution without uninstalling the browser, but my suggestion is; install a new browser, that will most likely fix automatically your issue.

I, and the rest of the people here, we are trying to point out the downsides of the browser he is currently using, and having problems with. To recommend another browser that is far more advanced, and bug free. That is also a solution to the problem he's having. Stop being an asshole, we are just trying to help the guy out ..

Damn, I'm sorry I haven't seen this in ages.

I will read all the comments, try them out and reply here.

NOTE: I have Google Chrome, used it for a few months - didn't like it. I prefer the good old IE.

NOTE2: This problem appeared recently, never had this problem. ( I tried to reset the IE, it didn't help. Gonna re-download it now. )

NOTE3: I've downloaded it once again, attempted to install it but after a while it kept saying: "Internet Explorer did not finish installing". So, about the cookies stuff, I am not very smart around these things - how do I do it?

@Trapy - I tried your way, but I couldn't remove any plugins. I just couldn't press disable/remove.

@Mark; i suggest you to use firefox, it is so easy to use and even better for plugins ; you can delete and install them whenever you want with the very simple way, this was just a suggestion may i know your version of IE.

I tried installing IE 9, it said it couldn't install it as I had a newer version, so I'd say IE 10.

Basically IE is the best for advanced operations, but Firefox is recommended for standard use.

You need to reset your internet explorer setting for this issue... below are the required steps.

type Internet options in the search. you will find it in setting option.

Now internet properties menu will open just go to advanced tab and click restore advanced setting option.

after that click Reset button and check delete personal settings option from the next popup menu that appear and click reset.

now logoff and login again..

Have you tried to just simply use ctrl + T for every new tab you want to open, or is it the whole IE which's fucked up?

I would try to reset the browser completely. This option is in Internet Options --> Advanced. There's a reset button on that page. Another window should come up letting you know you're about to reset everything (IE7 just allows you to reset or cancel, IE8 allows you to choose what you want to reset). Make sure you understand what you're resetting and once you're ok with that, hit the button and wait. You'll have to restart IE afterward.

If this doesn't fix it, you may want to check to see if your computer has some type of browser hijack in it. Alternatively, reinstalling (or upgrading) Internet Explorer will most likely solve this problem.

If none of that works, you might have something else going on in your computer. Remember that Internet Explorer is closely tied to Windows Explorer so if one is having an issue, then the other will as well.

Unlike the other posters here, I don't like skirting problems by "just using another browser", especially with Internet Explorer because like I said, bigger problems with your machine can show up later.

I, personally have no issues with Internet Explorer and I have yet to meet someone that can prove to me that any other browser is better than one another.
