Since you say it's persistent and that it didn't change your vehicle car spray, Check this -> http://wiki.sa-mp.com/wiki/Vehicle_Color_IDs
Re-spray the vehicle since /car unmod didn't work for you, although i do not see a proper reason why it shouldn't.
