Securing your supply routes is one of the key factors here. Do not do it if its risky. Time it wisely.

I didn't this coming, really. woot was all silent for weeks, months even and all of a sudden these major announcements and changes are brought in. All I can say is thank you for the revision and thank you for giving it a try.

There is no doubt that family feuds will expand to this domain, that the gundealing will be much more complex and much more faction dependant and that the server will surely lose a lot of money each day through the things players buy the most; guns.

woot was very clear on everything in his initial post. If you all go through his posts, you won't have any questions left. Just scroll the pages.

Perhaps implement something like taking over a faction's warehouse? Say, Faction A is at war with Faction B - they take their warehouse to cut them off from their weapon supplies. Just a bare idea popping up as I read your post.
Of course, a lot of /strict/ rules will have to be set, but then again, faction leaders will have to bother protecting their warehouses as much as taking out rival faction's members.

It's quite obvious he doesn't want it to happen because he lacks the ability to do something slightly more challenging than current gunrun system now that it's been changed.

No, but you can pull them over for routine checks, though you won't find guns, but the driver may have guns on him, eh?

I'm obviously the only hater, but now you have to be in faction to get any gun? What about the unofficials? Yeah you could maybe get guns If you know any mafioso he could maybe sell you guns, but thats too slow

As far as I understood it all you need is an open warehouse. No matter who you are you should be able to withdraw materials.

Anyone can deal weapons as long as they have materials.
Materials can be taken from any open warehouse.

Correct, but most of warehouses are obviously closed, so if unofficials need guns, then they need to buy from the officials, that's how it goes.

And that's how it makes it realistic. Smaller, less notorious organizations have to buy weaponry off the bigger mobs, that have or should have access to weapons smuggling.

I'm just wondering if by "anyone can take shit from warehouse" he means anyone at all, say, FBI.

Anyone is anyone. Let it be a level 1 noob that just registered, the PD chief or FBI director. Anyone can take as much as he wants as long as the warehouse is open. Anyone can HAVE materials, but LEA cannot use /sellgun.

Other than that, I increased the crate price to $7500 rather than the original $5000.

That entirely depends on the mafias at what rate they want to sell their materials.

Changes for the next restart because stocks fill up quite fast:
- Trailers can load a maximum of 50k units (instead of the former 100k)
- 1 crate only contains 2k units (instead of the former 5k), 1 crate will cost $3000
